The west can learn shopping skills from India, like bargaining, for instance. When Indians shop, we negotiate to make sure that nobody fools us with fake tags and brand names. When it comes to shopping, we are shrewd and make sure we get what we want at a favorable price.
3. Respecting elders.
Indians are strongly connected with their family, especially the elders. We always seek blessings from the elders so that we can live a happy and prosperous life.The west can learn from India on how to respect and value elders.

4. Accepting people from different countries.
The refugee policy is the best example to prove that we are accepting of people from all around the world. India has become a home to thousands of refugees coming from different countries. Apart from the shelter they receive, they are also given many benefits to sustain themselves.
5. Managing large number of people.
India easily manages its huge population, which is precisely 1.6 billion people. For instance, the public transportation helps millions of Indians to commute daily. Festivals like Durga Puja witness massive crowds in a single space. Clearly, the west can learn a lot about managing large number of people from us.

6. Variety of recipes.
India is a land that has many types of recipes ranging from butter chicken to delicious deserts like jalebi. When it comes to cooking, we are very particular and use different spices to bring the best taste and essence in every dish. The west can learn many recipes from Indians and enrich their cooking experience as well.
7. Adaptability to change.
Unlike most western countries, India is a land that is diverse in every way. Every state has its own culture, language and way of life. However, wherever we go, we learn and adapt to new surroundings. We learn the culture of other states, their languages, food habits, work schedules and so on.
8. Spirituality.
India is known for its deep philosophy and spirituality. Eastern religions such as Hinduism and Jainism were born in India. India’s spirituality focuses on introspecting one’s self and paves the way to find our true purpose and happiness in life.
