Indian cuisine is known for its rich flavors and colors. Thanks to the diversity of weather conditions, soil type, and cultures, the Indian cuisine significantly varies from one state to the other. Indian food habits are heavily influenced by the religious and cultural choices. The North Indian cuisine has been majorly influenced by Central Asia due to the Mughal rule while the South Indian cuisine has been heavily influenced by the Portuguese.

1. Dum Aloo
