India has many advanced means of transportation. Most of India’s metropolitan cities have metros, and we also have good flight services in many cities and towns. When you walk down the streets in India, you might suddenly come across a snake charmer. This is a sight worth experiencing in India. It is truly fascinating to see how these men tame their snakes by playing music.

3. Mehendi

Applying mehendi on your palm and feet is something most Indian women love to do, especially during festivals. In fact, drawing mehendi is an art in itself. It is so interesting to see how mehendi is carefully applied using a cone in a very artistic and creative fashion.

4. Bull-taming Sport

If you visit Tamil Nadu sometime in the month of January, you can witness Jallikattu, which is a bull-taming sport. Hundreds of men come together and fight aggressive bulls trying to tame them. The game is one of the most important events of the Tamil festival Pongal.


5. Eating on Banana Leaf

Eating on a banana leaf happens in many places across India, especially in the southern states. This is followed when traditional food is being served, and happens mostly during festival seasons like Onam in Kerala.
